Main objectives: search for documentary written evidence on the past climate of Portugal

Procedures: selecting the archives and formulating a protocol for data acquisition;  selecting the types of documentary sources

Expected outcomes/results:

Two papers on climate variability during the last 350 years (one for a national and one for an international journal)
