Geographer and researcher at the Centre for Geographical Studies.Graduation in Physical Geography from the University of Lisbon. He is a Ph.D. student at the Institute of Geography and Spatial Planning developing a thesis focused in the spatial relationships between mortality and extreme thermal events in the Lisbon Metropolitan Area. His main research interests focus in the relations between climate and health in the urban areas especially those related to mortality/morbidity and heat waves or cold spells, climate change and future urban climates regarding health consequences.
