Task 3 – Portuguese series reconstruction

Coordinator: Henrique Andrade

Main objectives: to derive indexes based on documentary evidence and produce reconstructed series referring to Portugal

Procedures: index setting; converting the indexed series into present-day meteorological units by employing statistical climate reconstruction procedures; preparing reconstructed series

Expected outcomes/results:

Delivering a number of indexed series and at least one reconstructed climatic series

One or two papers in international journals are expected, as well as one paper in a national journal
